What Amiravo is
Amiravo is a reference library about peptides and related compounds. We read primary scientific literature, regulatory records, and approved product labeling, and we summarize what those sources say, grade the strength of the evidence, note the regulatory status, and record where sources disagree. We publish the summaries, the grades, the citations, a glossary, explanatory articles, comparison tables, and a set of laboratory arithmetic calculators. Account holders may also use a Lab Notebook to keep records of laboratory work on research samples.
What Amiravo is not
Amiravo is not a clinic, a pharmacy, a supplier, a laboratory, or a medical publisher. We do not sell anything. We do not diagnose, treat, or advise. We do not evaluate whether any compound is safe or effective for any person, and we do not tell anyone how much of anything to use. Nothing here is medical, veterinary, legal, or professional advice, and reading it creates no professional relationship with us.
Research use only
The information on this site is provided for use by adults engaged in lawful laboratory, scientific, educational, or professional research. "Research use" means in-vitro work, animal studies conducted under institutional oversight, literature review, teaching, and comparable activities. It does not mean self-experimentation, self-administration, or administering a compound to another person or animal outside a lawful, supervised research setting. Most compounds discussed here are not approved for human use anywhere. Some are prescription drugs. Some are controlled or prohibited in some jurisdictions. We do not assess the legality of any compound for you.
Why we quote some dosing and not others
Readers often ask why a page about one compound quotes dosing information while a page about another does not. The rule is simple and we apply it strictly.
When a compound is an FDA-approved drug, its approved prescribing information is a public regulatory document that any reader can obtain from FDA. We may quote the label's dosing section, with citation, because the label is a primary source about that approved product. The quotation describes the approved product, dispensed by prescription under a clinician's supervision. It does not describe a research-grade sample of a similar molecule, and it is not advice to anyone.
When a compound is investigational, published trials report the amounts and schedules investigators used. Those numbers are historical facts about the design of those studies. We may report them, with citation, as facts about studies, because omitting them would misrepresent the research. They are not recommendations. Trials are run in selected populations with monitoring, stopping rules, and ethics oversight. A number lifted from a trial has none of those protections.
When a compound is neither approved nor the subject of controlled clinical trials we have reviewed, we state no amounts for administration to humans or animals. There is no reliable source to quote, and we will not invent one.
Calculators
Our calculators do laboratory arithmetic: mass and volume to concentration, dilution, molarity, supply duration, and unit conversion. They work on whatever numbers you type. They do not know what compound you are working with or what the result is for. A calculator result is not a dose. If you use a calculator in a laboratory, verify the result independently before relying on it.
Lab Notebook
The Lab Notebook is a record-keeping tool for laboratory activity on research samples: which vial, what was added to it, what was withdrawn, and when. It computes what remains from what you enter. It never suggests an amount, never pulls amounts from our reference pages, never calculates anything per unit of body weight, never proposes a schedule, and never reminds you to do anything. It is not a dosing record and may not be used as one. If you need an official laboratory record, keep one according to your institution's requirements; the Lab Notebook is a convenience, not a system of record.
Accuracy, AI assistance, and review
Parts of this site are drafted or organized with the help of artificial-intelligence tools. Every reference page is reviewed by a human editor before publication and periodically afterward; the date of the last review appears on the page. Despite that, the site may contain errors, including misread figures, misattributed citations, and summaries that miss context. We correct errors when we find them and we welcome reports through our contact form, but we do not promise to update any page on any schedule. Verify anything that matters against the primary source we cite, and against current regulatory records.
Editorial standards
We use hedged, neutral language ("was associated with," "in a mouse model," "one small trial reported"). We name the model in which an effect was observed, cells, animals, or humans, every time. We make no therapeutic claims. We cite primary sources only: peer-reviewed papers, preprints clearly labeled as such, regulatory documents, and approved labeling. Where sources disagree, we record the disagreement on the compound page and on our Conflicts page; we do not average it away. Our full Editorial Policy is on our About page.
Your responsibilities
By using this site you confirm that you are at least 18 (21 where required), that you are here for research or educational purposes, that you understand nothing here is advice or dosing guidance, that you will verify information against primary sources before relying on it, and that you alone are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including drug, controlled-substance, import, anti-doping, and animal-welfare laws. The full terms are in our Terms of Use.
Emergencies
If anyone may have been exposed to, ingested, or injected any substance and is unwell, call your local emergency number (911 in the United States) or Poison Control (1-800-222-1222 in the United States). This site is not for emergencies.
